Police outside New Orleans say four FedEx employees accused of looting over $13,000 worth of electronic equipment from packages have been arrested.
Kenner police Lt. Brian McGregor says 21-year-old Earl Jones, 25-year-old Joshua Davis, 20-year-old Daquan Thomas and 25-year-old Christopher Washington, all from New Orleans, were arrested Monday on charges of theft valued over $1,500.
McGregor says the four worked as package handlers at the FedEx Shipping Center in Kenner. He says an anonymous tipster contacted CrimeStoppers in February and reported the thefts.
