Police: 13-year-old boy arrested after police pursuit
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}A 13-year-old boy has been arrested after leading Massachusetts police on a chase in sport utility vehicle that had been reported stolen.
State police say a Chevy Tahoe reported stolen in Foxborough was spotted on Interstate 93 in Boston around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Troopers attempted to stop the SUV, but the driver kept going until he crashed into another vehicle in Roxbury. No injuries were reported.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Police say the driver attempted to escape, but was caught and arrested after a foot chase.
The boy faces a variety of charges including receiving a stolen motor vehicle, leaving the scene of an accident, negligent operation, and assault with a dangerous weapon.
Because he is a juvenile, the boy's name was not made public and court proceedings were closed.
