Pennsylvania Man Charged in 2009 Crash That Killed Sister
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}GREENSBURG, Pa. -- A western Pennsylvania man has been jailed on vehicular homicide and other charges for a 2009 crash that resulted in his sister's death.
Forty-nine-year-old Matthew Lunn, of Greensburg, faces a preliminary hearing Feb. 28 on charges stemming from the July 2009 crash. His sister, Kelly Mattocks, of Latrobe, was a passenger and died of her injuries on Jan. 4.
State police say Lunn caused the crash by running a stop sign and hitting another vehicle. They also say he had been drinking but was not legally intoxicated.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Online court records don't list an attorney for Lunn who pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide in 2005 to a crash that killed the driver of a pickup truck Lunn crashed into in July 2002. The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review reports Lunn spent nearly two years in prison for that crash on his way home from methadone treatment.
