Ohioan charged in police officer's fatal shooting
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}A northern Ohio man has been charged with aggravated murder in the fatal shooting of a police officer.
Erie County sheriff's Capt. Paul Sigsworth says 50-year-old Kevin Randleman of Sandusky was charged Sunday.
Authorities didn't know if Randleman had an attorney, and the case was not listed in court records online.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Police haven't said why Sandusky Officer Andrew Dunn tried to stop Randleman as he rode a bicycle early Saturday or what prompted the gun battle that followed.
Dunn was killed. Randleman suffered a gunshot wound and was listed in stable condition Sunday.
Prosecutors say Randleman was accused of killing a Sandusky man in 1990 but was acquitted.
