Ohio police cadet won't be charged in other cadet's shooting
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Authorities say they won't charge a police cadet who accidentally shot and wounded another recruit at an Ohio firing range last month.
The Blade in Toledo (http://bit.ly/1TtdEUX ) reports Henry County Sheriff Michael Bodenbender says an investigation shows the cadet fired his handgun unintentionally during a break.
It happened during training last month at a shooting range at the Northwest State Law Enforcement Academy in Napoleon, about 40 miles west of Toledo.

Authorities say 27-year-old Marcus Newell, of Montpelier, was shot in the back as he sat at the table. Newell was hospitalized, but has since been released.
