North Carolina girl allegedly abducted, sexually assaulted while waiting for school bus

Alamance County, N.C. Sheriff’s deputies are searching for a man who allegedly abducted an 11-year-old girl while she was waiting for her school bus, and then drove off and sexually assaulted her, according to a news release.
Deputies with the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office were advised that an 11-year-old girl had been abducted while waiting for the school bus. A boy who was present at the location witnessed the abduction.
The suspect was described as a white male, tall, possibly 35 to 45 years of age. He was wearing dark pants (possibly jogging pants) a gray, ribbed long-sleeve shirt, light brown boots and a red ball cap. He was also described as having light facial hair.

The suspect was driving a gray, 4-door vehicle, possibly a Buick or similar type vehicle. The car may have a sticker on the back that includes a skull.
Multiple sheriff’s tried locate the suspect and victim. Surrounding agencies were notified of the descriptions.
At approximately 7:55 a.m., the victim returned to the scene, immediately approaching deputies. It was determined that a driver had been flagged down by the victim a short distance away who assisted her back to the scene.

The victim told authorities that after being abducted the suspect had driven to an area just inside Alamance County (near Orange County) where she was sexually assaulted.
