A rainy weekend festival turned grassy portions of downtown Atlanta's Centennial Olympic Park into a muddy mess, prompting officials to temporarily close it.
A park spokeswoman said Monday that sections will remain off-limits for a few days after heavy rain during the Sweetwater 420 music festival , which attracted thousands of people despite the weather.
The weekly concert Wednesday Winddown is canceled. Organizers say the amphitheater area needs time to bounce back.

Spokeswoman Morgan Smith Williams says the visitor center and Fountain of Rings — popular attractions at the park, which opened in the city as part of the 1996 Olympics — will reopen at noon Tuesday. The rest of the park is expected to reopen by Saturday.
She says officials expect to do some turf repair, which might take a few weeks.
