Michigan grandmother, 74, accused of shooting grandson dead in domestic dispute
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}A 74-year-old Michigan woman was arrested Friday after allegedly shooting dead her 17-year-old grandson.
The woman -- from West Bloomfield, northwest of Detroit -- was being monitored in the hospital Friday night before being taken to speak with police, when it is believed she will be charged with murder, myFOXdetroit.com reported.
A police spokesman said of the woman, "She is in custody, and she is at a local hospital at this time being checked out because of her age and the circumstances involved. Once she's cleared from the hospital, she'll be brought to the station."

The 17-year-old was pronounced dead at Botsford Hospital, having made a 911 call after being shot several times. Neighbors also phoned police to report hearing shots fired.
The accused and victim are yet to be identified.
