Thirty-three-year-old Andrew Wallace appeared in court Wednesday and is being held on $100,000 bond. Online court records didn't indicate whether he has an attorney.
Police say Wallace stabbed a 54-year-old security guard Tuesday night while being accompanied to a psychiatric ward at Summa St. Thomas Hospital in Akron. An Akron police spokesman has said Wallace had two knives when he was taken to the hospital.
