Los Angeles police hunt man suspected of shooting woman, fleeing with 2 kids
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Police in Los Angeles were searching Monday for a man suspected of shooting a woman in the head and fleeing the scene with their two young children.
The mother of Michael Lajun Green's two children, 21-month-old Maaliyah and six-month-old Zyler, called 911 from the Sportsmen's Lodge hotel and event center in Studio City at around 4:50am local time, KTLA-TV reported.
Green allegedly shot her in the head, but authorities said the bullet did not go through her skull.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Green fled the scene with the two children, and police believe he is armed.
He has a previous conviction for a domestic violence charge, according to KTLA.
The victim, who was not identified, was listed in stable condition at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
