A suspicious package has forced the evacuation of the cargo area of Boston's Logan International Airport.
Airport spokesman Phil Orlandella says the package with a Nigerian address was found Tuesday, causing federal officials to order an evacuation of the area.
He said agents in bomb suits are investigating the discovery in the Delta Cargo building.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Orlandella says a K-9 dog doing routine security picked up a scent from the building, prompting the investigation.
He says no passenger flights were affected since the cargo building is about a mile away from passenger gates.
No further information was immediately available.
