Twitter permanently suspends Trump's account over 'risk of further incitement of violence'

Biden has criticized Trump for allegedly encouraging the violence on Wednesday

Twitter announced it would permanently ban President Trump's personal account Friday, arguing that his messages risked inciting more violence like what broke out in the Capitol Wednesday.

Authorities have begun arresting and charging suspected rioters in connection with that chaos, which left at least five people dead, including a Capitol Police officer.

A senior Justice Department official said Friday that law enforcement took Richard Barnett into custody in Little Rock, Ark., after a viral photograph showed him sitting inside House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s office with one leg resting on a desk.
