Human leg, severed from the hip down, washes up on Chicago beach; authorities investigate

Authorities tell the Chicago Sun-Times (http://bit.ly/18ZPqPD ) that the leg had been severed from the rest of the body the hip down.
It was found by someone walking near rocks on Wednesday afternoon.
