{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) — The 15-year-old girl who authorities say was brutally attacked by another teen at a Florida middle school has left the hospital.
Family attorney Rick Freedman says Josie Lou Ratley moved to a rehabilitation facility Tuesday, about six weeks after the beating at Deerfield Beach Middle. Her feeding tube was also removed.
Fifteen-year-old Wayne Treacy is accused of punching and stomping Ratley at a campus bus stop on March 17. He's facing an attempted murder charge and has pleaded not guilty.

Freedman says she still has a long road ahead and it will be years before the full outcome of her injuries are known.
