Firefighters rescue horse from ravine in Los Angeles

Los Angeles County firefighters used a hoist to rescue a horse that fell from a trail into a ravine above Sylmar.

Officials said the rescue operation near Little Tujunga Canyon Road took about three hours Saturday afternoon.
KABC-TV said the horse was hoisted to safety and found to be uninjured.

Personnel from the city fire department and Angeles National Forest assisted in the operation.
