Elderly California Man Suspected in Beating Death of Wife, but May Not Remember It
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}A 96-year-old man was in police custody Sunday on suspicion of fatally bludgeoning his wife -- but he may not even be aware of her death, due to his dementia, KTLA-TV reported.
Officers were called Saturday to the Los Angeles home Milton Weiss shared with wife Ann on a report of a suspicious death, and found the 81-year-old woman dead from an apparent head injury.
Neighbors and family members said Weiss had recently started to believe that his wife was stealing money from him.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}"He was getting confused about things and would be angry about something that wasn't real," neighbor Sharon Queen-Ford told KTLA.
Weiss has not yet been charged.
