{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}A volunteer coach whose Ohio house was the scene of a party that preceded the 2012 rape of a girl by two high school football players has been sentenced to six months in jail for another probation violation.
Former coach Matt Belardine (BEHL'-ahr-deen) was sentenced Monday in Jefferson County court to 180 days for violating his probation with a drunken driving arrest this month. Judge Patricia Cosgrove denied his request for work release.
It was the 27-year-old's second probation violation. Belardine was sentenced last year to two months after being arrested and charged with disorderly conduct in Arizona.
