City: 2 dead, 9 hospitalized over apparent carbon monoxide poisoning at New Jersey building
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Authorities say carbon monoxide is apparently to blame for the deaths of two people and the hospitalizations of nine others in New Jersey.
Keith Furlong with the city of Passaic (puh-SAY'-ihk) says the incident took place at an industrial or factory-like building. It wasn't clear if the building was an active factory.
Furlong tells The Record that carbon monoxide is believed to be responsible.
