4.8-magnitude quake rattles California; no reports of damage
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}A small earthquake has shaken homes near Eureka in northern California but there are no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
The U.S. Geological Survey says a magnitude-4.8 temblor struck at around 4:09 p.m. Thursday in Humboldt County.
It was centered 11 miles southeast of unincorporated Bayside.
