PINE BEACH, N.J. -- Three people died after a car slammed into an elementary school in New Jersey Thursday.
Deputy Chief Michael Mohel of the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office says the impact left a hole in the Pine Beach Elementary school.
Mohel says a school employee found the car around 6:45 a.m. The school was not open and no students were present.
Officials have not identified the victims.
Investigators are trying to determine how the crash occurred.
The school delayed opening by 90 minutes.
