1 killed in Atlanta transit station shooting
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Police say a man was shot dead at a downtown Atlanta transit station after he and another man got into a fight on a train platform.
Joseph Dorsey, assistant chief of police for Atlanta's MARTA transit system, said two men got into a tussle on the westbound platform of the Five Points station around 2:24 p.m. One man pulled out a handgun and fatally shot the other.
Dorsey said officers responded immediately and took the suspect into custody.

The shooting comes about a week after a teenager was fatally stabbed at the same station following New Year's Eve festivities.
