The Arts and Crafts of the Kutztown Folk Festival

Each year, hundreds of old-time craftsmen and women come together at the Kutztown Folk Festival in Pennsylvania Dutch Country to help keep ancient traditions alive for new generations. (David France-Beverly)

Quilting has always been a community project. This quilt stand is open for any guest to sit down and learn to quilt or just start helping. The display is across from the Quilt Display, an indoor attraction featuring hundreds of hand made quilts. (David France-Beverly)

Chair canning goes back thousands of years and this is a rare display of the hand-made in the USA furniture being created. (David France-Beverly)

A modern birch beer tap takes on the guise of an old moonshine still. The beverage is a popular one at the festival...birch beer, not moonshine. As far as we know. (David France-Beverly)
