Greta: My terrifying elevator ride in Vietnam

Let's go "Off the Record" for a minute. Yes, I'm thrilled to be home. There is no place like home, but I had a great trip to Myanmar, Cambodia and Vietnam with Reverend Franklin Graham, Griff Jenkins, and my husband. It was a real eye opener about human labor and sex trafficking, including sex trafficking of little girls, but I will tell you about that later, including on GretaWire.
In the meantime, I learned one lesson big-time. Do not ride Russian-made elevators in a communist country.

THE REV. FRANKLIN GRAHAM: We are just a few floors, Greta, from our office here in Hanoi. And when we passed about the 24th floor, we all felt kind of a violent shake and then the elevator kind of started going down. It felt like the brake on the cable was holding but we were stuck. And we might be here a while. Well, if it goes down, I'm going up.
GRAHAM: All right. All right. ...Jump through there, quickly.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: Terrific.
VAN SUSTEREN: Do you mind if I use the stairs?

Yes, all is well that ends well. But I confess that was not fun. It was about 10 or 15 minutes, and I'm so glad to be home. There is nothing like American-made elevators in a democracy. I love them.
And that's my "Off the Record" comment tonight.
