School Bus With 13 Children Rolls Off One-Lane Road
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Authorities say about a dozen children were treated for cuts and bruises after their school bus rolled off an embankment on the side of a one-lane road in northern New Mexico.
State police say the driver avoided a head-on collision with a speeding car by driving onto the shoulder of Rio Arriba County Road 80 near Cordova.
They say the bus then rolled down a 25-foot embankment, coming to rest on its side.

The children ranged in age from 7 to 11.
