Police Hunt for 'Ponytail Bandit' After Texas Bank Robbery

Police in Austin are searching for a woman in her 20s who walked into a local Wachovia Bank branch, demanding cash from a teller and making off with an undisclosed amount of money, according to news reports.
The suspect walked into the bank Monday afternoon at around 1 p.m. and demanded cash from a worker. She was caught by the bank security camera smiling during the ordeal. She made off on foot after the robbery.
On the tape, the woman is shown wearing a University of Texas ballcap, with a ponytail squirting out the back. She's believed to be just over 5-feet tall, roughly 115 to 120 pounds and has blue eyes, Austin police said.
