Members of three-person "gang," including a nurse, are accused of intentionally spreading the virus that causes AIDS at sex orgies they advertised on the Internet, Agence France-Presse reported.
The accusations were heard in district court on the third-day of a weeklong trial in Groningen, Australia.
Witnesses claiming to be victims of the trio testified that they were drugged, raped and injected with HIV-tainted blood at the sex parties.

"I feel fear, anger, sadness and anxiety," said one victim, who is HIV-positive. "I have lost a lot of weight."
The three were arrested in May of last year after 14 alleged victims — 12 of whom are HIV-positive or sick with AIDS — filed charges. Authorities have not determined whether the "victims" were sickened before or after the parties.
