Former Boeing Employee Raises Safety Concerns About Dreamliner

A former Boeing employee contends the 787 Dreamliner plane is unsafe and the aviation giant may be putting passengers' lives at risk.
Vince Weldon, a 46-year veteran of Boeing says he was terminated in retaliation for his complaints about the safety of the plan comprised on carbon components.

Weldon said the materials were more brittle and could lead to more deaths in a crash or lightning strike.
Boeing said Weldon concersn were addressed by other technical experts involved with project and characterized Weldon as a disgruntled former employee.
