Cops: Massachusetts Man Killed Over Loaf of Bread
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Police are investigating the stabbing of a 51-year-old Greenfield man Friday following what investigators say was a dispute over a loaf of white bread.
Police say Willie Donaldson was fatally stabbed by Lee A. Wilkins, 59. They say Wilkins and a roommate Thomas Webb, 62, were embroiled in an ongoing dispute about a missing loaf of bread. Police had been called to the home on Tuesday.
The dispute did not end then.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Police tell the Springfield Republican that on Friday Webb and his nephew Donaldson burst into Wilkins' room. A fight broke out. All three were injured and Donaldson died.
Wilkins is being held without bail until his arraignment Monday in Springfield District Court.
