A pub chain in the United Kingdom is limiting to two the number of alcoholic drinks a customer with children can order, in an attempt to cut down the time they spend there, The Daily Mail reported.
"We are not in any way a children's pub with an activity center," Eddie Gershon, a spokesman for the chain, JD Wetherspoon, told The Daily Mail. "It is not a wonderful day out for children spending hours in the pub."
Ordering coffee is preferred over an alcoholic beverage, but not more than two, Gershon told The Daily Mail.
