The Big East banners have replaced the Atlantic 10 ones at the top of the Cintas Center. Xavier is ready for its move into the new league, bringing a much deeper and more experienced roster this time.

The Musketeers are in position to rebound from a rare down season. They went 17-14 and fell out of the race for their shot at a final A-10 title, undercut by injuries and a lack of experience.

They return point guard Dee Davis and shooting guard Semaj Christon, who led the team in scoring as a freshman with 15.2 points per game. The front line has been reconfigured, and several newcomers are expected to play important roles.
