WWE NXT champ Jacy Jayne ready for call-up, puts women's division on notice
The two-time champion has held the NXT women's title for more than 135 days heading into Saturday's triple-threat match
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}WWE NXT women’s champion Jacy Jayne may have had the best year of anyone on the brand.
She became a two-time women’s champion within a year, knocking off Stephanie Vaquer and then regaining the championship against Tatum Paxley. Jayne’s current reign has lasted more than 135 days as she heads into Stand & Deliver in a triple-threat match against Kendal Grey and Lola Vice.

The New Jersey native has been on the NXT roster for about five years and has only gotten a little taste of the main roster, appearing on SmackDown briefly in 2022 and making her women’s Royal Rumble debut back in January.
Jayne may be in line for a full-time main roster call-up sooner than later, following in the footsteps of Vaquer, who got her call in the months after Stand & Deliver 2025.

She told Fox News Digital in a recent interview that if she would have been called up a few years ago, she would have floundered.
"I’ve been in NXT for about five years now," Jayne said. "I feel like if I got called up two or three years ago, it wouldn’t have ended well. I would have been gone by now. Everybody always loves to say that they’re ready and in reality, you’re not ready. It takes time to develop. It takes time to get confident and know your craft."
Jayne said that in her current state, she feels as ready as ever and put the women’s division on Raw and SmackDown on notice.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}"I feel now, I’m ready," she said. "I know I can stand in the ring with anybody. I’m not intimidated. I can go with the best. So, I’m ready. Whenever they decide I’m ready, I’m going to be there, and I’m gonna take a spot and all of them should be ready."
