Western Carolina to visit South Florida, Alabama
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Cullowhee, NC (SportsNetwork.com) - Western Carolina football will bookend a 12-game regular-season schedule in 2014 with a pair of games against FBS opponents.
The Southern Conference university announced a 12-game schedule on Monday, beginning with an Aug. 30 visit to South Florida and ending with a Nov. 22 trip to Alabama.
The Catamounts will play six home games. They will host Brevard (Sept. 6) and Catawba (Sept. 13) in non-conference games, and Wofford (Oct. 11), The Citadel (Oct. 25, Homecoming), Chattanooga (Nov. 1) and VMI (Nov. 15) in SoCon games.
