Watkins maintains Air Capital Classic lead

Wichita, KS (SportsNetwork.com) - Sebastian Cappelen fired a 5-under 65 Saturday and he holds a 2-shot lead following the third round of the Air Capital Classic.

Cappelen, who is at 14-under 196 through 54 holes, is making his professional debut this week at Crestview Country Club after winning a qualifier on Monday. Cappelen just graduated from the University of Arkansas, where he was a four- time All-American.

Cappelen holds a 2-shot lead over Andres Gonzales, who stands alone in second place after carding a 4-under 66 Saturday. Gonzales currently stands at 12- under 198 through three rounds.

Sung Joon Park had the low round of the day with a 6-under 64, earning him a tie for third place with three others at 11-under. Joining Park are Matt Weibring (66), Blayne Barber (67) and Rob Oppenheim (67).

Still in the hunt four shots back of the lead are amateur Ollie Schniederjans (65), Paul Claxton (67), Jeff Gove (68) and Aaron Watkins (71), all of whom are tied for seventh at 10-under 200.

Watkins held the lead after both the first and second rounds, but three bogeys hurt him in the third round Saturday.
