Washington cruises past San Antonio
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Crystal Langhorne and Tierra Ruffin-Pratt each had 13 points to lead the Washington Mystics to an 86-64 win against the San Antonio Silver Stars.
Langhorne also pulled down nine rebounds for the Mystics, who won for the fourth time in five games.
Washington deployed a balanced attack to blow out San Antonio. Nadirah McKenith chipped in 11 and Monique Currie, Matee Ajavon and Ivory Latta each had nine points. Emma Meesseman also dropped eight.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Shenise Johnson and Jia Perkins each had 12 points to lead the Silver Stars, who lost for the 10th time in 12 games.
Washington led by five at half, 41-36, before blowing the game open in the second half. The Mystics outscored San Antonio, 27-15, in the third quarter and led by as many as 27 in the fourth quarter.
