Vegas police probing club patron complaint involving Clippers star Blake Griffin
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Police are investigating a man's allegation that Los Angeles Clippers star Blake Griffin attacked him in a Las Vegas nightclub during the weekend.
Officer Jesse Roybal, a department spokesman, said Wednesday that a battery complaint was filed Sunday stemming from an altercation involving the NBA player.
No arrest was made. Roybal says the case remains open.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Team spokesman Seth Burton says the Clippers are aware of the complaint, but have no immediate comment.
The celebrity news website TMZ quoted a man who said Griffin grabbed his neck, took his cellphone and slapped him after he took a photo early Sunday at Tao nightclub at the Venetian resort.
The Clippers played an exhibition game Saturday in Las Vegas against the Denver Nuggets.
