Valparaiso seeks continued improvement
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}(STATS) - Valparaiso seeks to continue building its program under fourth-year coach Dave Cecchini during an 11-game 2017 schedule which was announced Tuesday.
The Crusaders are coming off a 4-7 season, including their first three-win campaign in the Pioneer Football League since 2003.
They will open Sept. 2 at Montana as well as play five home games at Brown Field - against Duquesne (Sept. 9) in a nonconference matchup and then Stetson (Sept. 30), Marist (Oct. 14), Morehead State (Oct. 28) and Dayton (Nov. 18) in PFL games.
