Unluck of the Irish: Notre Dame DB hurt celebrating

Just when you thought Notre Dame's injury woes couldn't get much worse against Georgia Tech, this happens:

Sophomore safety Drue Tranquill appeared to injury his knee on the play and was taken to the locker room for further evaluation. Here's video of the play:

This is just the latest in a series of unfortunate injures suffered by the Irish. In the last week alone, Notre Dame has lost both their starting quarterback and starting tight end to season-ending injury and have lost a number of running backs only two weeks into the season.
