U.S. bounces back with win over Argentina

The Americans had lost to Germany in their opener on Sunday, but rebounded to beat a team that has medaled at the last three games.
The contest was the Americans' first win over Argentina -- which has won bronze in the last two games, and silver in 2000 -- in Olympic play. The U.S., however, did beat the Argentines in the title match at the 2011 Pan American Games.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}The Netherlands, the gold medalist four years ago in Beijing, edged Japan by a 3-2 margin in Group A Tuesday. Also in Group A, Belgium drew China and Great Britain got past South Korea.
In Group B, New Zealand topped South Africa and Australia beat Germany.
