Tuck, Jacobs, Snee, Umenyiora all miss practice for Giants

Several top players missed practice for the Giants on Wednesday, including defensive ends Justin Tuck and Osi Umenyiora.

Tuck has been out for the past three games with both a groin and neck injury and it's being reported that he will likely sit out Sunday's home game against Buffalo. The Giants have their bye week following Sunday's game.

Umenyiora is bothered by a knee injury while running back Brandon Jacobs (knee) and guard Chris Snee (concussion) also missed practice.

Jacobs is hampered with a strain of his medial collateral ligament and sat out last weekend's loss to Seattle.

Some good news for the Giants, though, is that center David Bass returned to practice on a limited basis. He missed the Seattle loss after leaving the previous week's game against Arizona with a neck injury.
