Travis Outlaw leads Kings to 104-86 preseason win over Lakers

Travis Outlaw scored 18 points and DeMarcus Cousins had 16 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Sacramento Kings to a 104-86 preseason victory over the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday night.
Rookie Ben McLemore added 12 points for the Kings (1-1) who opened the fourth quarter on a 14-3 run that gave them an 87-72 lead.
Jodie Meeks had 19 points for the Lakers (2-2) while Pau Gasol added 13 points and Chris Kaman had 12.

Los Angeles closed the first half on a 7-0 run to take a 50-48 lead. There were 13 lead changes in the first three quarters.
Steve Nash of the Lakers did not play in the second half because of a sore left ankle. He played 8 minutes and missed his only shot.
This was the first NBA game played at the MGM Grand Arena.

The Lakers travel to Shanghai, China to play two games next week against the Golden State Warriors.
