Towson gets past Maine 10-7

ORONO, Maine (AP) Darius Victor rushed for 101 yards and a touchdown to help Towson beat Maine 10-7 Saturday night.
Towson (6-3, 4-2 Colonial) led 3-0 after a sloppy first half. Maine's first two possessions ended with a fumble and missed field goal, while Towson's Connor Frazier was picked off by Jeffrey DeVaughn. Both teams had a series that ended on downs and they combined for four punts.
On the final series of the half, Towson took over in Maine territory after a short punt but had to settle for Sam Hurwitz' 19-yard field goal as time expired on the half.

In the third, Maine's Nigel Beckford fumbled and Towson's Eric Handy recovered and returned it to the Black Bears' 6. On second-and-goal, Victor punched it in from the 5 to put the Tigers up 10-0.
Maine (3-6, 3-3) took the ensuing possession 71 yards on 13 plays, culminating in Drew Belcher's 3-yard scoring toss to Jordan Dunn.
