Tony Romo is inactive for Sunday's game against Arizona, and backup quarterback Brandon Weeden is set to make his first start for the Dallas Cowboys.

Romo reportedly has the same back injury that sidelined Baylor's Bryce Petty for a game earlier this season. It's described as two small cracked bones in his back, sustained on a sack last week against Washington.

Rookie second-round pick DeMarcus Lawrence is set to make his Dallas debut after the defensive end missed the first half of the season with a broken right foot.

Dallas guard Ron Leary has joined tackle Doug Free on the inactive list with a groin injury.

Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson is active a week after sustaining a concussion against Philadelphia.
