Titans, defensive tackle Antonio Johnson reach agreement on multiyear deal
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}The Tennessee Titans and defensive tackle Antonio Johnson have agreed on a multiyear contract.
The Titans announced the deal Wednesday. Terms and length of the deal weren't disclosed.
Johnson, 29, recorded 35 tackles and a career-high three sacks for the Titans last season while playing all 16 games and making six starts.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}The Titans drafted Johnson in the fifth round out of Mississippi State in 2007. The 6-foot-3, 328-pound Johnson spent the entire 2007 season on injured reserve and then played for the Indianapolis Colts from 2008-12. He rejoined the Titans last season.
