The Los Angeles Kings spent much of the past month avoiding playoff elimination, so they can appreciate the Chicago Blackhawks' resilience.

After missing their first chance to finish off the Blackhawks in a double-overtime, the Kings are back to take another shot in Game 6 of the Western Conference finals on Friday night.

Defenseman Drew Doughty says the Kings can't let the series go to a Game 7, so they're determined to prevent the Blackhawks from having another good start. Los Angeles also will endeavor to shut down Chicago's surprisingly effective line pairing Brandon Saad and Patrick Kane.

Before heading out to their second straight elimination game, the Blackhawks continue to insist all the pressure is on the Kings.

But Chicago is just 2-6 on the road in the postseason.
