Texas A&M, which already has a pretty dynamic group of receivers led by sophomore All-American candidate Christian Kirk, is adding another big-play wideout in Oregon transfer Kirk Merritt, who tweeted the news of his move to College Station Friday.

The 5-11, 205-pound speedster from Louisiana, a former four-star recruit, played in 12 games as a true freshman at Oregon in 2015 and caught five passes for 61 yards. He will sit out the 2016 season and have three years of eligibility remaining.

In high school, Merritt clocked as fast as a 10.44 100 meters time.
