Tevin Svihovec scores 20 points as N. Colorado rallies to beat Bethune-Cookman 65-60
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Tevin Svihovec scored 20 points and hit two free throws with 8 seconds left as Northern Colorado finished a stunning comeback to beat Bethune-Cookman 65-60 Saturday night.
Northern Colorado (3-2) trailed by as many as 24 in the second half. The Bears ripped off a 15-2 run to cut the lead to 52-39 with 8:53 to play. Bethune-Cookman responded, scoring on four straight possessions and restoring the lead to 59-41.
Northern Colorado then ripped off a 19-1 run to bring the score to 60-59 with 1:14 left. After a few fruitless possessions, Svihovec was fouled going for a layup and hit both free throws.

Tim Huskisson stole the ensuing inbounds pass, ending any hope for Bethune-Cookman.
Mikel Trapp paced the Wildcats with 20 points.
