Tennessee coach Butch Jones says reserve LB Dillon Bates out for season with torn labrum

Volunteers coach Butch Jones announced Bates' injury Monday at his weekly news conference. Bates, a freshman, made six tackles in Tennessee's first four games. Jones said Tennessee (2-2, 0-1 SEC) would seek a redshirt exemption for Bates.
Jones said quarterback Justin Worley should be at 100 percent for Saturday's game with Florida (2-1, 1-1) after briefly leaving a 35-32 loss to Georgia last week with an elbow injury. Worley missed three series before returning in the fourth quarter.
