The Broncos looked pretty good on defense without T.J. Ward.
They're a downright scary unit with him back at strong safety -- which is exactly where he'll be against the Chiefs on Thursday night after serving a one-game suspension.
"Is it what it is, it's done now,'' Ward told ESPN's Jeff Legwold. "I'm ready to go.''
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Ward is just another Pro Bowl-caliber player in Denver's stifling defense. He'll rejoin Chris Harris, Aqib Talib, and Darian Stewart in a truly fearsome group.
The Chiefs should be very afraid. This group held Joe Flacco and the Ravens to a league-low 173 yards on Sunday -- and that was without Ward's services.
"They played very well; they played how I expected them to play," Ward said. "The positive is I'm back and I get to play."
