Sousa wins Casablanca opener

The Portuguese Sousa leveled Dutchman Igor Sijsling 6-2, 6-4 on the red clay at Complexe Al Amal.
Also on Day 1, Argentine Carlos Berlocq rolled past Russian Teymuraz Gabashvili 6-4, 6-1.

The 2014 Casablanca winner will claim $105,000.
