SOCHI SCENE: The hardware
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Most Winter Olympic events end much like a horse race: Win, place, show. First, second, third. Gold, silver, bronze.
But in a few tournament-style events, like curling and hockey, silver medalists lose their last game while bronze medalists go home winners.
The U.S. hockey team can do that on Saturday night in a bronze medal game against Finland. Even though, as T.J. Oshie tweets, it's not the finale they imagined.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}"Not the medal we wanted to be battling for but we can still take home some hardware. #USA," Oshie tweeted. See the tweet here: https://twitter.com/OSH74/status/436960241499271169
